Discussion:
Kansas City would be the ideal place to put the NASCAR hall of fame

Isn't it about in the middle of the country? That way it would be more
accessible to more people and people would not have to travel as far to
get to it.

Why put it in NC anyway? Sure, if it was in Charlotte Lowe's Motor
Speedway would be near. But what would they tell people about
Rockingham and Wilkesboro? "NASCAR used to have 2 races a year at both
of them but they don't have any anymore because they needed to expand
their fan base by moving to other tracks around the US." Sure wouldn't
expect many to make those trips from Charlotte (or Raleigh for that
matter) to go sit at those 2 ghost tracks.

Now is time for our resident, self proclaimed NASCAR expert, Tom Ronson, to
chime in and show us how he knows more about NASCAR than anyone else.

NASCAR HoF should be in Charlotte or Daytona, period end of story.

Why not put it in KC? They were stupid enough to put the Rock
Hall in Cleveland, of all places. Then they screwed it up but
good, with people like the Bee Gees.

I torn between Daytona and Charlotte. Daytona would be a good place as it is
the birthplace of NASCAR. Yet, North Carolina is where NASCAR really got
going with the moonshiner drivers. So either is a good choice.
